The plastics industry has seen AFC's PTFE products become widely accepted as a material handling aid. AFC's fabrics are used primarily as a release medium for any welding or extrusion application. Our tapes are used as both a release medium and liner/barrier to prevent contamination. AFC's fabrics are also used in the conveying of hot plastics and in thermoplastic urethane manufacturing.
AFC works with companies in the plastics industry that are concerned about the frequency of replacing barrier materials and are frustrated with the downtime associated with the maintenance.
