Lake in the Hills - October 30, 2017Â - AFC (Advanced Flexible Composites) is pleased to announce the promotion of Ismael Salomon from Marketing and New Business Development Manager to Sales Training and Development Manager, Food Process Market Manager, and Southeast Territory Manager. He will be responsible for Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina field operations, implementing national training programs, and managing activities relating to the food processing market.
Michael Baker, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, commented, "Ismael has been a key member of AFC's sales, marketing and business development team for many years. His years of experience and expertise in all aspects of AFC's business will be very beneficial in his new role. Ismael will initially be focused on supporting our customers in his territory while assisting them in growing their businesses.
In addition to his territory sales responsibilities, Ismael will be responsible for product management of AFC's new family of food processing belts, fabrics and roll wrapping tapes. He will provide the leadership in our sales department that will guide AFC into the market leader of food processing."
Salomon has been with AFC for 12 years, and possesses an extensive knowledge of PTFE and silicone products, markets, and applications. "My focus is to enhance customer operations in the southeast, while supporting AFC's national sales initiatives. I look forward to learning about your business' needs."
